Portions & Pricing

The cost of your cake will depend on the size, flavour and fillings, number of tiers and type of decoration that you choose. Cakes with simple decoration will be less time consuming to make than those with elaborate piping and sugar flowers. Wedding cakes in particular are extremely work intensive, take many days to make and need careful construction. You can get an idea of portion sizes from the Portion Guide below. Please note that the portion numbers are approximate as portions will vary depending on how the cake is cut. 

Wedding Cakes

As wedding cakes are bespoke the cost or your cake will vary greatly depending on the size, shape, flavour and intricacy of design and so please contact us for an accurate quote. Cake tiers are usually 4.5″ deep with 4 layers of sponge and 3 layers of filling to each tier. There is a minimum order charge of £250 excluding set up and delivery. The following wedding cake prices are given as a guide price.

2 tier wedding cakes start from £250 based on 5″ and 8″ tiers (55 finger portions or 32 dessert portions).

3 tier wedding cakes start from £340 based on 5″, 7″ and 9″ tiers (95 finger portions or 55 dessert portions).

4 tier wedding cakes start from £420 based on 4″, 6, 8″ and 10″ tiers (130 finger portions or 80 dessert portions).

5 tier wedding cakes start from £640 based on 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ tiers (210 finger portions or 132 dessert portions).

Wedding Cupcakes with a swirl of buttercream start from £3.00 with a minimum order of 12.  More elaborate iced designs start from £3.50.  Wedding mini cupcakes start from £1.75 with a minimum order of 24. Wedding favour cookies and macarons start from £3.00 including presentation bag and ribbon with a minimum order of 12. Wedding cake pops in wrapper and ribboned start from £3 each with a minimum order of 12.

Celebration Cakes start from £50 for an 6” sponge cake with basic icing decoration and ribbon (enough for 20 party portions). Novelty cakes start from £75.
