The cost of your cake will depend on the size, flavour and fillings, number of tiers and intricacy of design that you choose. Wedding cakes in particular are extremely work intensive, often take many days to make and need careful construction. You can get an idea of portion sizes from the Portion Guide below. Please note that the portion numbers given are an ordering guide only as portions will vary depending on how the cake is cut. 

Wedding Cakes

Wedding Cakes are usually bespoke and as the cost of your cake will vary greatly depending on your chosen design please contact us for an accurate quote. You can get an idea of prices from the guide below. Cake tiers are usually 4.5″ deep with 4 layers of sponge and 3 layers of filling to each tier. We offer a wedding portion size of 1″ x 1″ x 4.5″. If you want to serve your cake as a dessert you will need to double these portions. As well as bespoke designs you can choose a design from our Wedding Cake Gallery.  All our designs can be adjusted to suit your colour scheme and theme as well as guest numbers.


It is nice to be able to offer your guests a choice of different cake flavours and we recommend that you choose at least two different flavours in your cake tiers.   You can even choose to mix sweet and savoury tiers if you are choosing a naked wedding cake! Should you or your guests have particular dietary requirements then please let us know and we can do our best to assist. We can also make additional kitchen cutting cakes should you wish to serve cake to a large number of guests.

Consultations and Tastings

The process of choosing your wedding cake should be a relaxed and enjoyable one. Complimentary tasting appointments for you and your partner mean you can try different cake flavours and be sure of your final choice.  This is also a good time to bring any colour samples along or other items that you wish to bring into the design of your wedding cake.  As well as appointments during the week, tasting appointments can be made at the weekend or during an evening by prior arrangement.


After your consultation and tasting we will provide you with a written quote and a sketch of your chosen design.  Upon acceptance we require a £50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your wedding date.  The balance for your cake will be payable a month before your wedding date. Please note that there is a minimum order charge of £250 excluding set up and delivery.

The following wedding cake prices are given as a guide price:

2 Tier Wedding Cakes – start from £250 based on 5″ & 8″ tiers (55/32 finger/dessert)

3 Tier Wedding Cakes start from £340 based on 5″, 7″ & 9″ tiers (95 finger/55 dessert)

4 Tier Wedding Cakes start from £420 based on 4″, 6, 8″ & 10″ tiers (130 finger/80 dessert)

5 Tier Wedding Cakes start from £550 based on 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ & 12″ tiers (210 finger/132 dessert)

Naked and Semi-Naked Wedding Cakes – covered in fruit and fresh flowers also available. A 6″, 8″, 10″ naked cake to feed approximately 80 guests and decorated with fruits in season costs around £380.

Delivery and Set Up

We will arrange to deliver and set up your cake at your chosen venue.  We can liaise with your caterers and florist as required.  Depending on the distance of your venue delivery may incur a small additional charge.


Our wedding cakes take many hours to complete and we can therefore only accept a limited number of orders in any week.  During the wedding season between April and September dates can fill up quickly and we would advise you to reserve your wedding date with us as soon as possible.  However, if you are in need of a cake at short notice then please call and we will do our best to help you or we can try and recommend someone else who can.

Savoury Cakes and Savoury Shortbreads – prices for these are available on request.

Wedding Favours, Macarons, Cupcakes and Cookies – As well as making your wedding cake we can also make favours for your guests, including macaroons, cookies and cupcakes and we can even provide you with edible table place names for your guests at the reception.  Please feel free to discuss your ideas with us.

Cupcakes – start from £2.75 with a minimum order of 12.

Mini Cupcakes – start from £1.75 with a minimum order of 24.

Wedding Favour Cookies, Macarons & Cake Pops – start from £3.00 (large) including presentation bag and ribbon with a minimum order of 12 or £1.75 (small).

Celebration & Party Cakes

Celebration  & Party Cakes start from £60 for an 6” sponge cake with basic icing decoration and ribbon (enough for 20 party portions). Novelty cakes start from £75.
